Jesuit forward Zavier Banks continued to chip away in the paint in the second half with De La Salle big man Michael Sulaka hounding him all night. He scored 12 of his game-high 18 points in the second half and made four trips to the free-throw line as Sulaka picked up four personal fouls.
“I thought Zavier Banks did a great job scoring inside,” Donnelly said. “I thought we got out in transition after we got some steals or even some quick shots that we were able to convert into transition opportunities with defense.”
